CG1112: Alex the Search and Rescue Robot

This was our project for CG1112 and it was a definitely a tough one for a Year 1 student as we had a limited understanding on ROS. Thus, we really struggled to make debug errors from the LiDAR. Thankfully, we still managed to pull it off.

These were the project requirements and features for Alex:

1. Able to map out an unknown an environment and reflect it on our laptops.

2. Can be controlled remotely from our laptops using a CLI (Command Line Interface) app.

3. Able to identify and differentiate victims (In the case of our challenge, the victims are represented by red and green bottles). Alex then plays a unique tune identifies a red bottle and another unique tune when it identifies a green bottle.
